Story & Biography
Jaune comes from a hard working class family, something you’d expect from his walk of life but he was never the type to break his back hoeing land for the rich and powerful , he always dreamed of the rebellion from his captors in the castle
All metaphorical as he could roam free. . As long as he paid his taxes which were excruciating considering how much food costed
He had many friends, using his charisma from his mother to outline his personality of a charming lean male to gain as much positive renown in his area . . He always considered people friends until they stab you in the back which is inevitably his downfall
Despite being a working lad he always had a knack for concoctions of various variety, working in the farmland provided him with a large variety of plants and herbs for potion practice in his tiny room whenever his nagging father wasn’t dragging him off for combat training.
he absolutely hated this but his father insisted on the attendance here as he expected him to join the royal guard when he was ready . . This was never going to happen if he ever found out about the numerous concoctions under his bed he created
Maybe he’d be impressed? potions were his specialty. . Capable of making subsiding affects of pain and other light wounds — maybe he would have been a great help in little wick? Too soon? Probably. He was always curious of other plant life that he just couldn’t find in his walk off life but he read about plants of lumination in caves , something he was definitely Ill equipped to find but was always curious of the possibilities that it could possess
This was all good until he started selling the various parts and bottles to the miscreants of the city, the bottles were low quality so hit and run attempts on guards were occurring a lot more than he hoped for.
Maybe that’s what he gets for selling /poison/
He just couldn’t say no to the long fallen childhood friends that lived in the gutters
Some of the poison he provided actually went to good use , sometimes being used in traps for the common bears that roamed the untapped wilderness by spiking a carcass of some dead livestock as it was non-lethal if the meat was cooked before consumption
This guilt he felt as he slowly observed numerous guards fall to his hobby just climbed and climbed until he snapped
He smashed everything in his workshop he’d procured at the end of the farmland and lit it on fire . He couldn’t bare to harm more innocence — despite them working for a evil ruler they just wanted a decent wage
Maybe he’d consider alchemy again when he finally escapes this god forsaken kingdom? Who knows but once he’s old enough to make his own decisions and not follow the Orsian ways of farming he would be straight for a pharmacist to learn from
(Please note although the character you apply with can commit illegal or immoral acts you cannot do these things on the server without an Intrigue application. This can be applied for once you are whitelisted.) Found here:

Section 4/4 - Open-ended questions
Please answer at least three of the questions to show how your character would interact with the world. Delete the spares (if applicable). Please include at least one paragraph for each question you answer.
Question 1
You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...
I never felt materialistic, so I wouldn’t Bat any eyes to the robber except to try and get a glance of the thief’s face before he scampered off
Using whatever fabric that was loose without getting naked I would wrap up the female and try my best to carry her off to the local medic , hopefully something will save her
Question 2
You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?
I would use this time to try and barter and sell some wares for a upwards price of what I would expect to receive upon reaching the merchants of the city
Hopefully if I’m lucky I would turn a quick profit from the bored and lonely residents of the camp — potentially get a drink if a stall has a bar for a quick pint before continuing into the city once allowed
Question 3
You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...
I would try and barter for some spices and/or salt to try and sweeten the despicable taste , if this was truly a poisoned food I would have no choice as I would probably be without food for several hours and fatigue would push to consume anything despite the warnings
Question 4
In the midst of battle, you find yourself approaching a wounded enemy soldier. The soldier is on the floor, clearly in terror as they cradle one of the dead. Enemy forces begin to advance in the distance and you know you have to act fast. The soldier then grasps at a cloth and removes it from the dead soldiers pocket. They continue to cry, and starts calling the dead soldier's name in despair. Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You…
I would never kill a surrendered enemy as it’s worse than surrending in terms of honour and that’s something I take seriously
I would tell the soldier if he wants to leave drag the body to the advancing forces telling them it’s clear and to look somewhere else for him
If the soldier values his life he would do as instructed and we would both survive without
Question 5
You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few metres ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?
I would use my dubious charisma and play on the advantage of that they would love compliments, every other sentence would be a compliment to how wonderful this village and that I would be so lucky to be graced with one night within its walls, if they are as ignorant to outsiders as they are proud of their own village they would eventually warm to me and my soft voice allowing me inside for the night
