Name:
Answer - Halvose, son of Einar
Age:
Answer - 50
Culture:
Answer - Northman
Story & Biography:
Answer - Halvose, son of Einar, was raised as a hunter who may live on very little by his family who lived deep in the wilderness in their cabin. Now alone, with his parents laid to rest and his brother having left to travel in the greater world, his location unknown to Halvose, he lives as a ranger, traveling regularly to civilization to trade and take on work as a guide or to hunt dangerous creatures and occasionally even men, when times are hard enough. Always ready to offer help to those far from house and home, Ed likes to build small cabins and hovels in the woods to act as shelter and give weary travelers a brief respite from the harsh elements. His mother, having Oserian descent and being from Flintwood, he's relatively small and somewhat tame for a Northman, though his life in the harsh wilderness of the Summit keeps him in line with his Northman roots. Halvose keeps the old ways, always giving a portion of his game to Vintas to ensure the land in which the animal was killed will continue to sustain himself and others.

Open-ended questions
At least three must be answered. Delete the spares(if applicable). Please include at least one paragraph for each of the answered questions.
Question 1
You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...
Answer: I would attempt to run to help the woman in the alley way while calling for help and for somebody to get the authorities while I checked to see if the woman was badly injured or not. Once others had come at my calls and begun seeing to the woman, I would probably seek out a guard myself. Having just finished a night of heavy drinking, searching for and confronting the thief myself would probably be a bad idea. So naturally in my state that's exactly what I would try to do. It would actually most likely be for the best if I didn't find them, as a fight as I would be then would probably end poorly. But then again I am from the North, perhaps it's the thief who should be hoping we don't find each other on those streets.
Question 2
You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?
Answer: I would check out the shopping stalls and see if I couldn't do well to trade my wares with them and hopefully erase my need to wait on entering Korsian entirely. While I do this I might try and eavesdrop on the various refugees in the camp and see if I can't overhear any rumors of animals needing to be hunted or missing persons needing to be found. Or even any badmen with bounties on their heads, if I'm running thin enough to need to take on such a job. And any refugees I might meet who seemed trust worthy and were in need of a place to stay, I might offer to guide them to a settlement known to be more open to take in such foreigners, for a fee obviously. Though in my pity I might
Question 5
You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few metres ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?
Answer: I would bank on my more Northman traits and lack of a crow on my hand to win their trust, or atleast permission to weather the blizzard in their village. I would ask if there was a place I could stay. If no tavern or inn was available I'd offer what hides or food I might have on me for the hospitality of one of the villagers and hope that they would be willing to let a fellow Northman eat and sleep beneath their roof. While staying there, I'd offer to tell them of what news I know of the greater world, and maybe even offer my services in the village as a guide or see if they had any troublesome predators I could hunt for them. Then, after the storm had passed and I have finished what business I have there, I would continue on whatever journey had brought me to that place to begin with.
If they do not allow me to stay there, I would probably just try and sneak into the place where they keep their animals or store their food and attempt to wait out the storm in secret. If I am not discovered, I would leave that place as soon as the storm had lifted, possibly taking a small amount of food with me, but only enough to last me the rest of my journey of course.
