Terms & definitions

What is roleplaying?
Escapism. Oh, I mean it's masquerading as a character and being projected into their lives which you've laid the skeleton for, emoting as they would react.
What is powergaming?
Forcing an action onto another player without their consent. IE: He slit Tom's throat, pulling out his skeleton by the bone and throwing it off the cliff in one fell swoop.
What is metagaming?
Bringing information you've obtain out of character or information you generally know, into roleplay. IE: Tom slept with Jim's Wife, Mary. Jim found out OOCly and killed Tom. (without his skeleton)
What is a Mary-Sue?
The prettiest, strongest, smartest girl in all the land. Or when a character is made to have no flaws and/or invincible. IE: Little Williams hopped on his one leg through the burning barn, returning in the blink of an eye with the prized cow, Great Betsy, atop his burly shoulders.

I have a page. But I suppose I'll use this for now.

Jariki Shinga
Story & details:
Raised in the tutelage of a number of nomadic scholars and pilgrims who travelled among the desert trade routes, Jariki was groomed from a young age to be the representative of the house, Shinga, a minor family along the branch of the Khan. With times dire, Jariki has been sent out among the world to expand his family, create social ties, and engrave his household's name within the Khan's graces.
(Note: This is not nobility, this is a far branch of the Khan, it's basically as if a farming house wanted to "see the big city pa")

At least three must be answered. Delete the spare(if applicable).
You find yourself in an arena surrounded by high sandstone walls. Much like all the dozen of strangers in the arena, you only have a robe - the single weapon is a spear on the ground, in the very centre of the arena. You are a short sprint's distance from it - closer than most of the others - but even so the others have already spotted it and are running to grab it. They seem to be ready to fight for their lives. You...
Swiftly covered the distance between himself and the weapon, and promptly hefted it from the sand with a cold sweat dripping from his brow, for he knew what he had to do. He turned the spear upward as he lowered his head in a prayer, the soft mumbles of an apology to his father, for he would not survive. Moments before the other participants reached him, he knelt, his head being thrust down upon the spear, it's steel point penetrating through his weathered beard, burrowing through the man's mouth and into his skull, for he believed that he may not survive, but he will be entertainment neither.

You're heading home after some drinking at the tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...
Calmly stroll down the alleyway as if taking a stroll through the park, only to stop infront of the collapsed woman. Jariki sighed as he squated down, the puddle of blood swelled to the rim of his sandals, staining the edges. "A pity... I liked these" he complained, straightening himself upwright as he looked down at the writhing commoner. With a small smirk, he dug his sandal onto the wound, the pressure making the woman screech in pain, only to be snuffed out by a swift kick to the temple. "Commoners should stay silent like the worms they are" He barked, spitting on the unconscious, bleeding victim.
You've gotten lost and wandered awhile, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...

In the midst of battle, you find yourself approaching a wounded enemy soldier. The soldier is on the floor, clearly in terror as he cradles one of his dead. The soldier then grasps at a cloth and removes it from the dead soldiers pocket. He continues to cry, and starts calling the dead soldier's name is despair. Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You...
Would swiftly decapitate the vunerable man who had fallen prey to his own weakness, moving on to dispatch more orders while he left the soldier to lay next to the man he loved so much for all eternity.

Hello, my name is Verando and I am reviewing your application today. It has been put on ...
  • You need to expand your background more. Tell us about him other than he is a traveling farm boy. It's good besides that.
Should be quick fixes.
Please make the challenges above within the span of 72 hours from the time reviewed. Failure to do so will result in denial of the application and you will have to reapply 24 hours from the denial date. Message me or reply here when you made the changed and I'll take another look.
