Name:
Answer - Sylas Atwood
Age:
Answer - 36
Culture:
Answer - Northern, Summit Folk
Story & Biography:
Answer -
Sylas is the first son of Jarl Ásbjörn Atwood, a seafaring warlord, and his wife Siri. He was born in the year 965 A.T in the small walled city of Skogsjhem, located along a particularly hostile and hazardous stretch of coastline south of the ruins of Norvaskr. Atwood men are brought up to be ferocious warriors, and Sylas being the first born was driven to prove he was capable to his father. He grew up, training and eventually becoming a Northern Marauder of war, trained in the ways of his greataxe and heavy armor, helping lead troops in his father's army. Though, once the great blizzard 'Rithgar' struck his homeland, Sylas assisted in leading his siblings and those he could find towards Esna to seek out honor and glory for their family name, sadly unaware of how many the other cultures and tribes work.

Question 1
You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...
Answer: Sylas, inebriated due to his heavy drinking, has no chance of catching up to the thief, though he does move over to assist the bleeding woman. Trying to maintain his best act at being sober while noticing how dire the situation is: Sylas bends down to help her up with a forced smile "Oi, oi. It'll be all okay, aye? Ye're a stron' lady. We'll get'che to a nearby clinic." With that he'd help her off, aiming to try and avoid stumbling against her and deliver her safely to any guards and medics.
Question 2
You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?
Answer:
Question 3
You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...
Answer: Sylas glances to her, raising a brow. He almost takes a challenge to the fact that he's told he'd be unable to handle it. Reaching out, Sylas moved to take a handful, if allowed, of the food and gobble it down. Though, shortly after, he begins to heave before likely passing out or falling prone. Sadly, this has left him easily open to robbery for the time being. Before his eyes shut for the night, either due to the pain alone or exhaustion finally taking him, all he could see was the old crone taking his rucksack.
Question 4
In the midst of battle, you find yourself approaching a wounded enemy soldier. The soldier is on the floor, clearly in terror as they cradle one of the dead. Enemy forces begin to advance in the distance and you know you have to act fast. The soldier then grasps at a cloth and removes it from the dead soldiers pocket. They continue to cry, and starts calling the dead soldier's name in despair. Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You…
Answer: The large Northerner pauses, looking down upon the scared and sobbing warrior with a look of empathy. The Northern Marauder, battleaxe in hand, offers a slow nod and quick prayer to Hedren. "Yeh have fought honorably, my foe." before moving to retreat back to his ally's lines. He glanced back, hoping the man had made it, despite his knowing that it was a war he was in and loss was a common occurrence.
Question 5
You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few metres ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?
Answer: Sylas, luckily being a Northern man himself, takes further satisfaction in seeing a village of his people. He trudges onward, moving to call back to his wolf, Kindel, to hurry up. He nods to those at the gate, hefting up his rucksack and pulling his cloak tighter. Safety at last, he believes, though he had misjudged how warm he was before noticing his left foot had gone numb quite a while ago during his journey.
