Terms & definitions
Answer these definitions using your own words. The definitions can be looked up if necessary, however copy-pasting is not allowed.
What do you define as roleplaying?
Role-playing to me is getting out of your comfort zone trying something new and engaging not you, unless you prefer it to be more like you. You could be someone totally different to you, for example in real life you could be someone who doesn't like to go out, doesn't like to explore, calm and patient, however when you role play you can be a adventurous person who is hot-headed and impatient.

Describe the term ‘powergaming’
Powergaming is doing something your character is unlikely to do, something unrealistic. for example playing a 5 year old child, and then encountering 3 bandits larger then you, and somehow you are able to beat them all single handedly and without a weapon.

Describe the term ‘metagaming’
Meta gaming is knowing something your character hasn't been told in role play however you seem to know it like saying if you knew a character's name however never being told it, or found anything to relate that name to that specific persona.

What is a "Mary-Sue" character?
A Mary-Sue character is someone who everyone loves or adores someone who is perfect to the eye and voice and fighting. This character would be seen as the person everyone wants, he or she also has some skills however never knowing them.

Aveyrin Tyr Ruryk

The Northern Culture

Story & Biography:
Aveyrin Ruryk was born and raised in the Jarldom of Flintswood, son of Rhodri 'The bold' Ruryk and Largea Ruryk, he was raised beside a large amount of children 12 in total most were bastard excluding him and 3 others. Aveyrin could hardly keep count of the mount of Siblings he had as most weren't close to him and died from the harsh climate zones of the ever lasting winter lands. Averyin never really played with other children as he was to focused on helping his father build boats for a living, however his father would usually be to drunk screwing up every boat they tried to build. Aveyrin then decided he was tired of his father's work effort attempting to do his own thing Averyrin moved to the lands of the "Summit Folk" at the age of 16. Averyin built many boats for these folks, and was taught much more on the Gods, Men and Combat. Averyin was taught the way of using a Nordic Shortsword and round shield. Averyin learned to appreciate the Gods much more for all they had given him when he moved to the Summit Folk, Averyrin raised himself further more on the gods and the field of battle, learning to further his skills and knowledge of the Gods he'd usually come to the Seers and Military men to see knowledge on both subjects. Averyin currently stays in the Jarldom of The Northern Summit attempting to learn more on the Gods and further his combat skills so when the time is right he will rise through the ranks and gain glory for himself and his future people.

Open-ended questions
At least three must be answered. Delete the spares(if applicable). Please include at least one paragraph for each of the answered questions.

Question 1
You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...

Would move towards the woman applying pressure, and wrapping her in any bandages he could find begging for help. After the assistance has arrived he would then move to unsheathe his weapon and chase for the hooded man he had seen escape with the jewelry and weapon in hand. He'd most likely go out by himself thinking he'd able to take the hooded figure alone if it was brave enough to rob a frail woman.

Question 2
You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?

Averyin would most likely move to find something to drink and food to eat. He'd then attempt to find a pretty lass to share his night with for the rest of the time being. After he'd settle in he'd move to purchase weapons off one of the stalls keeping it hidden with him he'd wait for the day light to come, and if during the night anything were to approach him to closely he'd slay it.

Question 3
You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...

Will not take the food from the Woman because he'd most likely find it unpleasant as she said or poisonous so he would attempt to find food somewhere else by A: Fishing in a Clean River Close by, B: Hunting any animal that he would be able to eat and C: Attempt to look for someone else in the swamps that would be able to give him food that he wouldn't think suspiciously about.

Question 4
In the midst of battle, you find yourself approaching a wounded enemy soldier. The soldier is on the floor, clearly in terror as they cradle one of the dead. Enemy forces begin to advance in the distance and you know you have to act fast. The soldier then grasps at a cloth and removes it from the dead soldiers pocket. They continue to cry, and starts calling the dead soldier's name is despair. Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You…

Averyin would move to send his weapon down swiftly on the the crying man to end his suffering then moving to regather with his group/army to see an end to the army that were further advancing on him, however if he was alone and most of his army were gone he'd charge in alone, fighting off the remaining soldiers most likely to be cut down fast and swiftly

Question 5
You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few metres ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?

I would approach the folk and convince them that I to were a Northerner from the Summit Folk, and perhaps if they were to further act in aggression towards me, I would attempt to fight back and kill them on the spot and steal any valuable resources they had such as weapons, food, money or a key that could give me shelter from the bitter cold and endless nights.

Your application has been denied.

Unfortunately, you do not meet our age requirement as stated in the rules. This is to be enforced for any and all applicants under the age of 15.
Additional reasons for the denial are as follows:

1. While you seem to understand what powergaming is, most of the open-ended answers have your character winning someway through combat. Your character will not always be undefeatable, especially when faced with such strong foes like an entire group of northerners.

2. You've provided a layout of your skin rather than a screenshot.

Should you choose to re-apply, you will need to make a new application once you reach the required age.
