Name:
Answer - Elayne Icevale
Age:
Answer - 20
Culture:
Answer - Northern Summit

Story & Biography:
Answer -
Elayne Icevale, daughter of Henvst and Lita Icevale, was born in a Northern Summit village, several miles from Norvaskr. During her forming years, she lived a simple life with the peoples of her clan, with the priority of survival in a harsh and unforgiving environment. Instead of an education in reading, mathematics and writing, Elayne learnt the essential skills to survive in the Northern reaches and to help her clan prosper. During this time, she became proficient in basic survivalist skills such as skinning and tanning hides, and the art of crafting thick furr coats and sturdy boots. However, as the years went onward, she yearned for something more than living one day to the next.
Elayne found a great interest in the study of The Five. However, it was to the point that the peoples in her clan could teach her nothing more than they already had. With promises to return, she set out travelling to the capital of the North: Norvaskr. Her immediate plan is to find a simple job, such as a servant, in order to support herself. After that, she seeks to gather deeper knowledge about The Five... Perhaps with the dream of becoming a Seer in the future.

Question 2
You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?
Answer:
Elayne would likely spent her time grumbling about how extremely hot it was there, in comparison to the furthest reaches of the North, and wondering why it was she travelled to such a place. She would be weary, talking to none of the outlanders, and keeping to herself, perhaps even seeming unfriendly. Elayne would buy a cheap meal, complaining about the strange spices, before settling down in a solitary place with her back guarded against a wall or tree. Elayne would likely not sleep the night, as she would feel quite paranoid around outsiders. Any attempts to speak with her would result in vague huffs and grunts, and turned shoulders.
Question 3
You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...
Answer:
Elayne would huff, saying "Food is for surviving, and i've no delicate taste." Though... she would probably make a face at the first taste of the soup. At least it was hot. As she 'enjoyed' the hot meal, Elayne would likely be dreaming of her home in the north, and the comforting reaches of the snow. She'd watch the door carefully, and guard her back against a wall of the room. Elayne would never feel safe in a place with outsiders, and would speak scarcely or not at all. At night, she'd lock her door and push a heavy desk against it. Likely, she'd not sleep and keep her boots and weapon at the ready.
Question 5
You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few metres ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?
Answer:
With a small smile, Elayne sighed in relief and pulled her thick coat tighter about herself. It was not often that the unforgiving lands of the North challenged her to this degree. Not since she was a little girl at least... Elayne approached the village carefully, preparing to tell them the simple and honest story of how she'd come to lose her bearings on the way from her village to Norvaskr. However, she knew that this village was not her own clan, nor her family of the North..And thus, she'd be careful, never dropping her guard. She'd be thankful for whatever help the village provided, and she would offer them assistance in mending fur coats and boots to what skill level she had. Then, she would continue on her way to Norvaskr at the nearest possible moment.
