Answer - Myto

Answer - 23

Answer - Crookman
Story & Biography:
Answer - Myto was unlucky from the day he was born, so unlucky in fact that many considered him cursed. You see, when he came out of his mother's womb he was pale, not Crookman pale, far worst, ghostly pale, and the strange pigment that darkened many a crookman's eyes seemed to have grown out of control in his own. His father had attempted to be rid of him, but his mother, kicking and screaming, defended her little boy to the best of her abilities until her father finally relented into letting him live and be considered his son.
Growing up was difficult, his father refused to have children with his mother, claiming she had some sort of spirit in her that corrupted her children citing Myto's constant wailing and crying through the night as proof. So his early years were spent with his mother, the other children of the village too frightened of the stories and rumors spread about him and his origin to dare speak with him. It certainly didn't help that when Myto could finally walk he seemed to adopt a nocturnal lifestyle, straying away from bright sources of light due to the extreme pain he suffered being in too brightly an illuminated area. Soon he was given all sorts of nicknames "The Spider" "Ghosty" "Pale Boy" and almost turned into a local cryptid due to his thin frame and antisocial behaviors. What kept Myto going through his years was nature, he experienced a side of the swamp that many in his village would rather sleep through. Fireflies, frog-song, and a host of other miraculous organisms that made the swamps their home. During his teen years, Myto would spend weeks away from civilization living among the muck and grime, bringing along any books he could get his hands on to read through one after another up in a tree somewhere.
All of these hobbies accumulated in one thing, one thing Myto could really call his own: Alchemy. His constant study of nature through both practical experience/observation and book learning led him to experiment with the local flora/fauna to brew a variety of potions, alcohols, stews, and draughts. As his mastery grew, more children in the village would find medicine on their windowsill whenever they woke up with a nasty cough too many days in a row, or when Myto heard rumors of their intense fever. He was a hermit, yet he had no hatred towards these men and women who ostracised him. Yet they did not continue to ostracise him for long, when word spread that he was the one saving lives of not only his own village but the surrounding ones too, soon people were coming to him and offering to pay yet all he would ever ask is for books or materials to keep his little swamp hovel out in the middle of the wilderness going. He would, eventually, be forced to move back into village with his mother who had come down with some unexplainable disease. She had always supported him, through it all, and he found that none of his knowledge could save her.
After he dug her grave and buried her in it, he could not stay. He would leave the swamp, travel, learn other types of alchemy and build a collection of herbs. Yet as he blossomed into an adult he found that people required more than just medicine. Making poisons was easy, he simply used whatever herbs he had never used before to concoct a myriad of poisons and venoms for a hefty price to help fund his travels. During his usual scavenging, he would come across a nest of eggs, all broken except one. Fully intending to use this egg in a potion, he was surprised to find that it hatched in his bag on the way back to his temporary camp. It felt wrong to kill such an innocent creature, and he would care for the tiny raven from that day on. Naming the bird Quincy after a story he heard in a tavern, he would finally find a level of companionship that few seemed to offer him in this unfriendly world. Quincy would also prove to be incredibly intelligent as his species tended to be, and soon caught on when Myto when scavenging for supplies, bringing Myto the occasional herb that he hadn't spotted or that was out of reach.
The adventures of Quincy and Myto are far from over, what will they do now?

Open-ended questions
At least three must be answered. Delete the spares(if applicable). Please include at least one paragraph for each of the answered questions.
Question 1
You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewelry on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...
Answer: Myto, very drunk, would try to find someone to help who wasn't as drunk as him and could actually do something about it.
Question 2
You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?
Answer:
Myto would cradle Quincy in his arms, gently petting his head with a finger, as he would walk from stall to stall. Many would give him worried looks, such a pale black-eyed figure covered in a heavy cloak certainly was not welcome here. Myto was used to it, it barely bothered him as he would pick up a string of pearls and hum as he would smirk as Quincy would become entirely enraptured with the string of shiny objects. "Ye' know you'll just lose interest." he would tease and Quincy would peck at his nose in protest as Myto would scrunch up his nose and sigh, gently placing the pearls back. "Yea.. I hope we don't have to wait long." Myto would grunt as he would go about browsing the other stalls.
Question 3
You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...
Answer: Myto has learned long ago not to accept anything from the weird crones of the swamp, and would steer clear to go make his own weird stuff to offer to strangers.
Question 4
In the midst of battle, you find yourself approaching a wounded enemy soldier. The soldier is on the floor, clearly in terror as they cradle one of the dead. Enemy forces begin to advance in the distance and you know you have to act fast. The soldier then grasps at a cloth and removes it from the dead soldiers pocket. They continue to cry, and starts calling the dead soldier's name in despair. Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You…
Answer:
Myto could be no help, at least to the deadman. Grabbing the still-living man he would attempt to drag him back into friendly territory, desperately pleading with him and trying to convince him that life was better than death.
Question 5
You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few metres ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?
Answer: Myto would try to find somewhere to stay for the night, but if the village really wasn't interested he would try to find a local cave and build a fire. He was used to being scared off by superstitious folk.
