Name:
Answer - Arterius Fournier
Age:
Answer - 19
Culture:
Answer - Oserian
Story & Biography:
Answer -
This gentleman had his time at war, for he grew up on it. Groomed from an even younger age as a militaristic administrator, he had a close-minded view on politics and culture, believing that all men were not indeed, created equal. This was only strengthened by his conservative family. Arterius was shown the errors of other cultures, though his tutors, including his father, failed to include his own cultures failures. Intelligent as he was trained to be, and strategy being his strength, he lacked the skill to wield a sword properly. He led an attack against a group of Korsians on his eighteenth birth date, though it failed and he was captured. Pleading for freedom, they beat him severely before throwing him alongside the road. This youthful nationalist found himself craving vengeance, for his hatred of the Korsians outgrew that of other cultures. Further attempts to destroy the Korsian numbers failed and he was arrested for seven months. Upon release he realized his mind was not yet a beacon of wealth that could be utilized to seek wrath upon his enemy. One such vocation included navigation, and he looked to the seas.
The young Fournier, bold and inspired, joined onto a crew of Orserians attempting to make a merchant living. In doing so, he was accomplishing the task of being a sailor. Arterius left the crew after two years and gave himself the title 'Guardia Costeria,' or 'Coast Guardsman." This was of course, only to himself, for being a merchant crew guard is not a title worthy of name. From there, he decided his next course of action was to wander.

Open-ended questions
At least three must be answered. Delete the spares(if applicable). Please include at least one paragraph for each of the answered questions.
Question 1
You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...
Answer: -charge forward towards the bleeding woman, for the thief is no longer a threat and the young Fournier could not catch him in the armor he bore. Instead, he drops to a knee and looks down at the woman. Knowing little about medical procedure he reaches down and tugs a large amount of cloth from the woman's torso, using it to wrap around her body and pressure the wound. From there she would likely pass out from shock. The Fournier called out for help, pressure on the wound until someone came, or until she died.
Question 2
You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?
Answer: The nationalistic Fournier would creep around the Korsian side of the camp, setting tents alight and robbing the coffers of weary foreigners, considering this payback for their inferiority. He would eventually be caught, being thrown in prison for another two weeks, beating up Korsian prisoners until his release.
Question 3
You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...
Answer: -quickly take the object offered to me, and chomp into it voraciously. The eaten object would then bubble in his stomach, an ache developing before he'd drop to his knees, throwing up and excreting upon himself repeatedly in but an hour later. It was found to be food poisoning.
Question 4
In the midst of battle, you find yourself approaching a wounded enemy soldier. The soldier is on the floor, clearly in terror as they cradle one of the dead. Enemy forces begin to advance in the distance and you know you have to act fast. The soldier then grasps at a cloth and removes it from the dead soldiers pocket. They continue to cry, and starts calling the dead soldier's name is despair. Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You…
Answer: -swiftly drive my blade into the knelt soldiers neck, giving him a merciful and quick death. He'd then reach down, slowly driving the blade into the dead soldier to ensure their commitment to the afterlife. He'd then rise, looking on to the distance before maneuvering in the direction of his allies.
Question 5
You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few meters ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?
Answer: Considering the Northerners as savages, he'd trudge into camp and feign sickness, asking for help. Assuming one of the Northerners had a kinder heart and took him in, he'd accept their help and express gratitude until he was safely in their home. He'd then slaughter the savages in the night, taking their food and cloth, dragging them out into the cold to freeze and rot. From there he'd continue on into the tundra.
