Snowflurry Oxen AWCC-Muskox-Bulls-Fighting-Feb-2018-6.jpg
Snowflurry Oxen, both male and female, bear a set of large curved horns at the top of their heads and are coated in long, shaggy hair. Their coats consist of dark browns, greys and blacks with white fur across the backs. On average they stand 5 feet high at the shoulder and measure at 8 feet. The small tail that is usually hidden underneath the large matts of fur only rests at 4 inches long. Fully grown adults weigh somewhere within the range of 700 to 900 pounds but records state that the larger males can grow up to 1400 pounds. Most of their time is spent traveling in herds to find food. Since they are herbivores, they travel great distances to find grains that rest underneath the snow.

Snowflurry oxen usually live in herds of 12-24 in the winter seasons and around 8-12 in the summer seasons. These oxen are mighty beasts and do not like to be trifled with. The local population of northerners do not commonly hunt these creatures either out of respect or the pure danger that it puts them in. However, the odd man or woman who manages to take down one of these mighty beasts is labeled as an expert hunter and is praised for his or her bravery.
