Establishment of all folk, ex-Knight and men for hire.

Origin and Purpose

​

Originating from The Duchy of Tarishaw, just before the plague wielded its hand over land. An ex-Knight by the name of Stefan - underneath one of the Duchy's various Chapters stood among a few peers to begin anew in bringing themselves the opportunity of exploring the world. Just after the plague began to show it's face, they took off for the hills on carriages. Most of what was left once they set foot on safer ground established the first laws and customs for this new Group. After several debates, the several men and few Dame produced tablets bruised with white-hot metal;

The Tablets

Law(s) & Punishment(s)
- To lay a hand upon man or woman without consent or in aggression, that hand shall be cast off.
- The one who brandishes contraband and steals, two fingers of either hand.
- To devolve into degeneracy, excommunicated and so forth.
- Racism should be kept to a minimal, respect to your superiors.

Purpose
- Accept coin to do handiwork that is within our moral compassion.
- Assist in small troupes that need more men.
- Advise and train men and women.
- To hire craftsmen and hunter-gatherers.
- Although started as Oserians, to keep an open mind of other land.



Training
​

While prospective initiates are desired to have a basic understanding of a weapon beforehand, it is not wholly required. Initiates will be thoroughly instructed and schooled and how to effectively combat and counter that which they may find on the field; whether it be an unruly bandit or a trained set of Mercenaries. Initiates will also assist the entire organization by researching into Alchemy, as it is going to be useful for not only the group but for the advancement of Esna to battle the Plague.

Upon initiation into the chapter one will begin their education and usually accompany a more experienced and sanctified Member. When deemed ready by their mentor they shall be trialed in both their knowledge as well aptitude, and upon successful completion - be recognized as a man of the Free-Company.

Recruitment​

Those wishing to be inducted into the Family are screened for their knowledge as well aptitude. Promising individuals are promptly initiated, given a uniform, and are assigned from there. Letter may be sent to Arte, or posted as note against any settlement that holds this notice-board flyer.
