Question 1 (edited)
You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...
Question 2 (edited)
You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?
Question 3 (edited)
You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...
Question 4 (edited)
In the midst of battle, you find yourself approaching a wounded enemy soldier. The soldier is on the floor, clearly in terror as they cradle one of the dead. Enemy forces begin to advance in the distance and you know you have to act fast. The soldier then grasps at a cloth and removes it from the dead soldiers pocket. They continue to cry, and starts calling the dead soldier's name in despair. Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You…
Question 5 (edited)
You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what has felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few metres ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?

Section 2/4 - Terms & Definitions
Please answer these definitions using your own words, the definitions may be researched however not plagiarized (copy-pasted).
What do you define as roleplaying?
- Acting as a character in a fictional situation
Describe the term ‘powergaming’ in your own words: (edited)
- Striving to be the strongest through OOC methods, probably spending way too much time grinding or something
- E: taking advantage of in-game mechanics to alter roleplay, in a way that it would otherwise not be altered. Is unrealistic
Describe the term ‘metagaming’ in your own words:
- Using OOC knowledge to affect roleplay
What is a "Mary-Sue" character? (edited)
- A character without flaws, or with “flaws” that don’t give any depth to the character. Usually represents the creator’s ideals.
- A mary sue character is always better/stronger than other characters, and never fails at anything
What does the abbreviation ‘OOC’ mean & when should this be used?
- Out Of Character, used when a person is not roleplaying
Here you will create an example character that could exist in the server’s history and lore.
Provide us with an in-game screenshot of your character’s skin.
Name:
- Faust
Age:
- 24
Culture:
- Northerner (Summit Dweller)
Can your character read and write?:
- Some basic things, cannot write very well
Story & Biography (edited)
- Faust has lived in the Summit for his entire life. He’s worked diligently since he was a child to keep his family fed and warm. At fifteen, he was initiated, choosing a simple shortsword. Now he lives alone, and continues putting forward effort to help his fellow northerners where he can. What he doesn’t give to his village, he sacrifices to the spirits or gives to needing strangers. As such, he lives very humbly. Lately, his eyes have been drifting towards the bounties of criminals. He might consider becoming a bounty hunter, to keep his home safe, and supply wealth.

- I carefully approach the woman, determining if she is safe. Once my assessment is complete, I provide some simple first aid and carry her to the nearest clinic. Before I leave, I pay for her medical expenses. If she asks my name, I do not tell her. I hastily exit.

- I see if I can sell my wares inside the camp. I then browse the market stalls for things that I might want to use or bring back home with me. I do not talk to the refugees unless they talk to me, or I am trying to buy/sell with them. If I see anybody who is in need and I have enough supplies to spare, I casually give some away.
Question 3 (edited)

- I won’t eat it. It could be poisoned or something. I especially don’t trust these Drahl, who not only look suspicious, but have strange-seeming food. However, I recognize that the intentions of the woman might be genuine, so I reject her offer in the most polite way possible. I look for something else to buy or hunt. If I can’t find anything, I won’t eat until I can.

Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You…
- This soldier clearly isn’t fit to fight. If I were to slaughter this grieving man with no intent to fight, Hedren, the spirit of honor, would surely be displeased. Besides, it’s against my morality to kill in this situation, even if it’s a war. I act as if he’s not there, simply minding his presence. My heart aches with sympathy.

Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?
- Before I enter the village, I remove my left mitt and do not put it back on, despite the cold. I do this because I know that the villagers would feel more assured to know that I am not an outcast. After I enter, I do my best to find the person that looks most trusting, and attempt to trade for resources. If I do not have enough to trade, I offer my services. Rinse and repeat until somebody accepts. If nobody accepts, I sit and wait and hope that the spirits will guide the hand of the villagers. No matter how much I am in need, I will not take their resources without their consent.
