- Lara Evens is a peasant from the southern Oserian Plains. She is from a small family in an area still recovering from The Great Death. They have found some small fortune in a time of turmoil. By buying land and animals from their fleeing neighbors at a reduced price and being one of the only farms still capable of selling goods to the local gentry the family was able to amass a decent seized nest egg. They hoped to raise up to the rank of commoner, though has yet to succeed.
Lara herself is a sturdy hardworking girl. Had she been born rich she may have been described as pretty, but any such physical features are hidden behind a mass of tangled curls and baggy patched clothes. She is on the road to becoming an accomplished farmer. Cooking, cleaning, butchering, and other farm tasks have been a part of her life since she could walk.
Bar disaster or war who knows what she might become?

Section 4/4 - Open-ended questions
Please answer at least three of the questions to show how your character would interact with the world. Delete the spares (if applicable). Please include at least one paragraph for each question you answer.

Question 1

You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...

-rush to the women’s aid. Tearing off strips from your petticoat for makeshift bandages she binds the wound to stop the bleeding. Then depending on if the woman can walk either take to a nearby public place in seek of medical aid, or fetch help and hope that your basic knowledge of first aid are enough to keep the woman alive until help arrives.

Question 3

You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...

-thank the woman for the warning and politely decline the offered food, resigning herself to another night of dried meat and hard biscuits from her dwindling supply.

Question 5

You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few metres ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?

-plead to their love of family stating that she must return home soon or her parents, grandparents, and sisters will worry about her. Offer to help out around the village for as long as the storm forces her to stay. Explain that she is a decent cook, can help clean, and is no stranger to hard labor from growing up on a farm.

Congratulations! Your application has been approved.

You will now be whitelisted on the server.

Your definitions are quite short but to the point and correct.

Your application is considerably short but I can see a good understanding of the roleplay setting we have here on the server, your character fits in very well.

Your answer to question three of your open ended questions is quite short but you make up for it with a good understanding of the setting and your realistic approach to situations.

Even though you provided your skin layout instead of a screenshot of the skin in game I can see the skin on your profile picture so this is not an issue.

All in all a short but acceptable application!

Make sure to take some last peeks at relevant information and guides.

You can use ToB’s Discord for communication and questions! You will find me and other whitelisters there too, ready to teach you the ropes.
