-Galil Kagaan, a child who's families claim to self-proclaimed fame was their role in Trade and Bartering with their home region of The Kharman Expanse. The Kagaan family specialized in sea travel, specifically the profit Mercantilism brought both them and their country. He was tought about all of the beautiful hardships working the sea was, but how cathartic and amazing the ability to do so was. Throughout his time on the ship, he learned from his family not only the emotional bearing the life they lived was, but also the logistics and bartering skills required to live life, both on and off the ship. This would, however, lead to the hardships of his life not exactly touching on his physical capabilities, but rather focusing on his mental aptitude.

As he grew older, he became of the mind of seeking Knowledge. The thing that drove his inspirations as he grew had been the sheer and vast amount of information the world just sort of had. He would constantly ask his family to teach him to barter, so he could seek out and purchase all the pieces of knowledge he so desired! This caused his childhood years to fly by as he spent his time absorbing all of the culture, history, and knowledge he could from the sea's. After and amount of time (specifically his 22nd birthday) He decided that he learned all he could from the viewpoint the seas provided and wanted to begin his quest for education. This leads him into the land he felt would be the best to venture into lands he felt most unknown to him: The North

Section 4/4 - Open-ended questions
Please answer at least three of the questions to show how your character would interact with the world. Delete the spares (if applicable). Please include at least one paragraph for each question you answer.

Question 1

You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...

-Why, the woman of course! Criminals are aplenty and inevitable, so if my goal is to maximize societal impact, saving the woman's life would be the better approach. Besides, who am I to take away the fun of a Guard's job? Heheh...

Question 2

You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?

-Oh, to waste time is to waste life! and how else better would I spend my time other than learning? You know, there's a plethora of knowledge in everything you are and aren't able to lay your eyes on! From the economical and societal hell (presumptuously) that the refugees hail from, to the wares they bring along. Never shirk an opportunity to learn.

Question 3

You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...

-Ooo! A logical dilemma; Do I learn about the ever expanding culture of our world orrrr do I ensure I live to so another day. Welp, everything is best in moderation, education included! *Swiftly walks away*

Question 4

In the midst of battle, you find yourself approaching a wounded enemy soldier. The soldier is on the floor, clearly in terror as they cradle one of the dead. Enemy forces begin to advance in the distance and you know you have to act fast. The soldier then grasps at a cloth and removes it from the dead soldiers pocket. They continue to cry, and starts calling the dead soldier's name in despair. Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You…

-Aww, hell, I've never been good in these types of situations... Okay, I'll just make it quick and easy, just walk over and sta-OH JEEZ THERE'S A LOT OF BLOOD a lot more blood than I thought okay I gotta go got-

Question 5

You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few metres ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?

No worries! I am an intruder, of course, and am subject to be treated as such. Hopefully I can weave my words for at least the night, then Ill just have to deal...somehow...hopefully...ughh...

You’re almost there! Your application is pending.

There are only a few things to change for a final decision.

Make the following edits to your application:

1. Your skin is not appropriate for the server, please keep in mind we are a serious medieval roleplay server. Your skin must reflect this. Please read up on the server's lore or look through other accepted applications for guidance. Your skin appears to be a modern scientist.

2. You will have to change your bio to reflect the server's lore better. There are no sea-based mercantile states. Korsians are notable as excellent seafaring merchants, however, and your backstory could reflect this. The biggest issue with the backstory is the chosen starting location. We currently have locked RP to the north until we hit a certain amount of players. So you can change your backstory to reflect this. I will link the lore forums for your convenience. (Official Canon Lore)

Once that is done, make a comment affirming you have made these changes and your application will be reviewed again as soon as possible.

Good luck!
