Can your character read and write?:

Story & Biography (please go into detail, we recommend two paragraphs but expect at least one. Please outline character history, personality traits and the things that make your character unique. Have fun with this section!)

- Aurelian hails from the wealthy Bosporan merchant family, centered in the capital city of the Oserian Empire. The family has a rich history in the city, though most of it being unknown to most. They were initially a noble family, wielding much power behind the scenes in the area, but eventually their power degraded, and much of the family was purged. The survivors went into hiding, now destitute when compared to their former glory. Many forgot about the noble titles once bestowed upon the dynasty, to the point where they are no longer officially recognized as a noble house of the Oserian Empire. The family only recently began to be more well known in the capital because of their mercantile ability, and Aurelian, raised on old tales of the Dynasties glory, hopes to bring back the glory of his family and reform it to once again be a noble house.
Aurelian himself has only recently left home, being of the opinion that he needed to prove himself worthy of one day reforming his dynasties noble house. He is a man that believes in actions over words, and does not approve of those who would lie without good reason. He strongly believes in the value of honor and chivalry, willing to come to the help of anyone he deems worthy of it. Aurelian was trained from a young age in matters of state and war, and served a few years in the armies of his country. He is however, very quick to anger, being unable to take taunting and jeering towards himself. This has got him in trouble many times in his past and will undoubtedly get him in trouble more in the future.
Section 4/4 - Open-ended questions
Please answer at least three of the questions to show how your character would interact with the world. Delete the spares (if applicable). Please include at least one paragraph for each question you answer.

Question 1

You stumble outside into the open air after some heavy drinking in an Oserian tavern. Just before you're about to pass an alleyway, a hooded man rushes out of it and runs for it - seemingly, he has both a blade and some jewellery on him. You take a quick peek in the alleyway to see a feminine figure collapsed on the ground, holding her hands over a bleeding wound in her torso. The thief is about to escape and the woman seems in critical condition. You...

- I would undoubtedly go and save the woman. While the gold and jewels have value, nothing can compare in value to human life in my eyes. While the jewels may be lost, they are proof that this woman is wealthy, and may have some pull in the government. Having friends in high places is always a good thing to have, Especially when you have such lofty goals as I.

Question 2

You are on your way to the Korsian city of Telth to sell some wares. Upon reaching the front gates you are stopped by the guard. They deny you entry for the time being as the traffic into the city is too high. You are effectively forced to wait in the refugee camp located between the two gates for the time being. The camp is
filled with shopping stalls and refugees sleeping on the floor. How do you spend your time in the camp?

-As a man of Honor and compassion, I would go around the refugee camp and find those I deemed worthy of charity, and asking for work or trying to make money would receive some. On top of this, I would look around the shopping stalls for a gage on prices in the city. When trading, knowing the prices of the competitors can greatly aid in price negotiations, as I know well from my time working in my families own market stalls back home.

Question 3

You've gotten lost and wandered awhile into Drahl lands, eventually finding yourself in Crookmire Swamp, where you decide to settle for the night. Finding a meal to buy for the evening takes some effort, but you do come across an old crone in ragged clothing, who offers to sell you some sea-looking food. She doesn't ask much, but warns you that eating it is 'unpleasant' to outsiders. You...

Question 4

In the midst of battle, you find yourself approaching a wounded enemy soldier. The soldier is on the floor, clearly in terror as they cradle one of the dead. Enemy forces begin to advance in the distance and you know you have to act fast. The soldier then grasps at a cloth and removes it from the dead soldiers pocket. They continue to cry, and starts calling the dead soldier's name in despair. Then the soldier glances up to see you - with your weapon up - but does not care of your approach, continuing to cradle the dead soldier. You…

-I ignore the soldier comforting his friend. killing an enemy with no intent to fight back is tantamount to murder in my eyes, even if it is on the battlefield. Given this, I would move past the soldier, and into the front lines of the battle, yelling to boost my fellow soldiers morale, and join the fighting, trying to push a hole in the enemies lines.

Question 5

You have wandered across a seemingly endless tundra for what have felt like days. A raging snowstorm makes you unable to see more than a few meters ahead. Being almost out of resources, you are delighted to find out that you have stumbled your way to a village. Upon closer inspection you find out it's a Northern village, and the residents are not very friendly towards strangers. What do you do in this dire situation?
